Family tradition information that was passed down to William Alonzo Reed and Robert Carl Reed: His name "Daniel" was not passed down. We thought there was a junior/senior name relationship and that perhaps he was John William Reed, Sr. and his son Jr., but this is not the case. He was thought to be "some kind of teacher" and had a total of four wives. There are additional children that are missing. We also had that his ancestors were from Scotland. He does have Scottish ancestors on the Brown side but his ancestors are predominantly English.
