"Chauncey Dutton Webster, bap. Sep. 28, 1794, m. Nov. 27, 1817, Adelia Allen, a sister of his brother Elijah's wife, and sister of Lemuel Allen, Jr., of Pittsford, from which it appears that they were children of Lemuel Allen, Sr. Chauncey Dutton Webster was a soldier in the war of 1812. He entered the service at Brighton, Monroe Co., N. Y., and served as corporal in Lieut. Leonard Stoneburner's Co., N. Y. Militia, from the 2d to the 30th of January, 1814. Both died at Penfield, Monroe Co., N. Y., she, April 1, 1847, and he, March 1, 1848. Children: Lemuel Allen, 1819; Hartwell Carver, b. Freedom, Cattaraugus Co., N. Y., 1821; Lorinda, b. Oct. 10, 1823; Marvin, b. 1825; Lucy, b. 1827; Chauncey Dutton, Jr., 1829; Harvey, Oct. 9, 1830; Gorham, 1833; Henry 1836, d. Jan. 1, 1842, aged 7 years; Emily Eliza, b. Jan. 1, 1839."
