"John Vaughn, Aug. 9, 1732-June 9, 1820, West Moreland, Oneida Co., was in the Revolution for seven years, son John was a drummer boy and son Daniel, a sergt. John Vaughn was the son of Daniel Vaughn and Mary Lawton, and married Anna, dau of John Beebe and Ruth Pratt, at Kent, Conn.
