Some online trees give Henry Trexler and Betsey Earnheart as the parents of Catherine Trexler. However, she does not appear to be mentioned in the court case over the heirs of Henry Trexler. There is also a George Trexler, Adam Trexler, John Trexler II, and David Trexler in Rowan County, NC, in the 1850 Census. David Trexler and John Trexler II are too young to be her father. There is not a female in the household of George Trexler of the right age, about 19, in the 1840 census. However, there is a female of 15-19 in the family of Adam Trexler; so, I am placing him as the father of Catherine by process of elimination. (Henry Trexler also has females in his household in 1840 of the right age. So far that I have found the court of pleas information for Adam Trexler does not list his children other than George Trexler II.)

The Rowan County Trexlers appear to be descendants of Lawrence Trexler. Wikitree gives his sons as Adam, John I, Jacob, and Henry. There is also a Peter Trexler in Rowan County, NC, in the 1800 census.
