  My neice asked me to put together a list of "Kings and Queens" we are descended from according to genealogy. There are a lot and this is very far back in time so take it with a grain of salt. Also as a mathematical certainty, everyone has to be descended from various rulers around the world, whether it can be traced generation by generation or not. However, this may help to capture imaginations and focus on specific points and events to learn about in history. I am starting with what are probably the most famous rulers in different areas of Europe, but this will be pretty eclectic and incomplete. I also realize that all of these groups are strongly male biased.
